Track Title Price
Woodstock [4:19]  [lyrics] Free

All spruced up for the 40th anniversary of Woodstock this live in the studio version brings this classic up to date without losing the feel of the original.
Somebody To Love [3:21]  [lyrics] Free

We Love Grace Slick but honestly this track just smokes. Kudos to Hayden for blowing this one wide open.
Heard it Through The Grapevine [2:59]  [lyrics] Free

Smooth and funky, always a big crowd pleaser.
Fire [2:46]  [lyrics] Free

1969 wouldn't be quite right without Jimi Hendrix and this is just one of a number of great tunes from the man included in a 1969 performance.
Piece of My Heart [3:59]  [lyrics] Free

There is no equal for the great Janis Joplin...that being said this just may be a tad better...no? Again thanks to Hayden blowing the doors off the studio we have another representation of an updated classic that retains the vibe of the original song.
Born to Be Wild [4:05]  [lyrics] Free

yesterday and today
1969 saw the baby boomer generation come of age as the music and creativity of the times set a new standard that has not been equaled to this day. In an era when the popular music charts were basically un-segmented and devoid of the genres that exist today, it was not uncommon to find Jimi Hendrix, The Supremes, David Bowie, Joan Baez, The Who, Elvis Presley, Marvin Gaye, The Beatles, Johnny Cash, Iron Butterfly, Neil Diamond, Led Zepplin, Otis Redding, Bob Marley, Simon & Garfunkle, The Monkees and James Brown all charting in the top 40. The fact that this happened on one pop chart is nothing short of amazing. By today's standards you would be hard pressed to find more than three of these artists existing within the same genre and in some cases such as with Marley or Cash, more than just one.

Sadly today's Pop music has evolved to be something much less fulfilling than everything that preceded it opting for production style over actual content and performance. 1969 defined a generation that spoke with passion and voiced their emotions through the popular music of the time; it is no wonder why those voices were heard so convincingly.
